IMO the new admin menu of CMSimple_XH 1.5 looks great (kudos to Gert and Martin). For XH 1.6 we should improve the admin menu of the plugins (config, language, etc.) too. Currently this looks rather horrible. At least the table cells should have a "fixed" width as percentage. And we should consider to set the font, background and color in core.css. We might even consider to move it from the content area to the admin menu (as a third level)--if that's possible.

IMHO the best way would be a separate standard "admin_template" e.g. suitable for the most frequent resolutions (1024?). It has anyway nothing to do with the website templates. So I don't see any reason, why it shoul be dependant on the content ara. With many plugins used on pages with an content area of e.g. 500px, it is sometime wery uncomfortible to set up a plugin configursation. This way there would be the entire area usable only for these settings and there would be enough space for longer description etc.
