Re: Also_XH
Hello Community,
I've un-published the download page of this plugin, as its name might be misunderstood! Sorry, I didn't mean to offend or insult anybody. The name was chosen by lack of knowledge of the english language.
The new name of the plugin will be Also_XH. I'll publish a first version probably within the next 24h.

How about a competition? We make suggestions - you decide.cmb wrote:The new name of the plugin will be Also_XH.
My suggestion:
CoCo_XH (for Co-Content)
Sounds a little bit like South Pacific and coconut trees (sounds positive, at least at the current weather situation )

Hi Gert,
Christoph
Well, everybody is free to make suggestions for my plugins. But I guess the features are more important than the name.Gert wrote:How about a competition? We make suggestions - you decide.
Indeed I was thinking of Cocontent_XH, but I didn't choose this name. But as Coco_XH is way better, I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.Gert wrote:CoCo_XH (for Co-Content)
Well, and a bit like "Chanel" -- perhaps I can get a sponsorship from them.Gert wrote:Sounds a little bit like South Pacific and coconut trees

Re: Coco_XH
Hello Community,
I've just released Coco_XH 1alpha2. You can download it from my website.
Coco_XH facilitates to have an arbitrary amount of so called co-contents on your website. These are similar to newsboxes, but instead have different content for every page. Coco_XH is inspired by the Also plugin, but (for CMSimple_XH ≥ 1.5 only) allows editing with the chosen editor instead of a textarea and scripting to be used.
It requires an UTF-8 encoded CMSimple_XH installation. It is released under GPLv3.
Coco_XH is in an early state of development, so many things might change. Furthermore it couldn't be tested so far in various environments. It is a so called ALPHA version. Use with utmost caution!
From the changelog:
changed plugin's name to Coco_XH
fixed faulty code examples in manual (reported by snafu and Gert)
changed: save button is only shown, if no editor is available
documented possibility to use scripting
fixed bug: multiple editors didn't work independently (reported by Gert)
added $height parameter to also() (suggested by Gert); updated manual accordingly
removed necessity to insert function call to template to enable editing
updated manual accordingly
added screenshots
cleaned up some code
Regarding the pagedata: as I've changed the name of the plugin, I've changed the name of the pagedata key for the id too. So if you have already created content with 1alpha1, you should manually edit your pagedata.php. Search for 'coontent_id' and replace it with 'coco_id'. If you want to start all over again, you can use Pdeditor_XH to clean up your pagedata file.
Any further feedback is welcome.

Re: Coco_XH
I cant seem to get this working Christoph
There doesnt seem to be a backend when I click on Coco in the plugins list dropdown.
In edit mode all I get is a white box at the insert place with /* ]]> */ after it.
nothing i put in box is saved anywhere.
Am i doing something wrong?

Yes indeed -- the folder has to be named coco, not Coco_XH-1alpha2! I'll fix this immediately.snafu wrote:there is the name of the pluginfolder "Coco_XH-1alpha2"
rename the folder to: coco
I guess you're using CMSimple_XH 1.5/1.5.1 (or even a beta or RC). The tinyMCE (Version 1.0) shipped with those versions is not compatible with Coco_XH. You should update to CMSimple_XH 1.5.2 anyway.bca wrote:In edit mode all I get is a white box at the insert place with /* ]]> */ after it.
