changing in CSS

Post by roze » Sat Sep 13, 2008 6:55 pm

I have a page with a blue colour in a black page. It is nearly invisible.

At what place do I have to change the stylesheet to make it white and underline.

the page is: http://www.praktijkdommelen.nl/index.ph ... iotherapie

the blue link is: overzicht gemaakt door collega P. Bär

The best way to understand the rules of CMSimple stylesheet is to make a copy and "play" with values in some CSS editor (to see what happens). Then one has no problem to set up the values.
In your case - the text is a link - try to look for "a" in your stylesheet.

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Would a CMS platform be the best way to start a website for a small band, or should I stick to basic php/css? I'm starting a website for my band, we have recorded demos, we play regular shows, and have a decent number of fans (for our tastes). We want to start a basic site for our band that provides things like streaming video, the ability to download/purchase our music, easily updatable news information and probably a photo gallery and forum. Should I use a basic customizable CMS template, or just a general website with plugins/options added?

you should start with a CMS because you will have more and more information etc., dynamic content

but you should evaluate if such a small CMS like CMSimple or a more complexe one like CMSMadeSimple (which is also quite easy to understand and operate) would be adaequate

I can add the website of my husband, composer and musician, as well ;=)

but you should always know the dimensions and the limitations and for big content and audio implementations, some other systems really are stronger
