I used to use CMSimple a long time ago, and I was sure that you could do a horizontal menu...? now I am not sure... I have searched the forums, the wiki, various things, but I don't quite understand..
I just want to make a simple 5 subject horizontal menu, and get rid of the left column all together. Cookie trail is not necessary for the site I am doing, just the horizontal menu.
I tried tos earch the forums, but "Menu" is too common a term and so will not search, and "horizontal" comes up with german (?) that I cannot understand.
There are some addons available, but I am not entirely certain that is what I need yet...? as I don't want drop downs or anything like that...
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Horizontal Menu
Re: Horizontal Menu
you will do that with CSS, mostly a horizontal menu is a list which is defined as "inline"
and you will find a lot of examples how to do that, just check some of the templates ...
or look for "advanced TOC" if I remember well

Re: Horizontal Menu
A horizontal drop down menu (like "son of zuckerfish") has been described in the old CMSimple forum at: http://www.cmsimple.dk/forum/viewtopic. ... 59798e5a79 .tianakaesha wrote:I tried tos earch the forums, but "Menu" is too common a term and so will not search, and "horizontal" comes up with german (?) that I cannot understand.
If you just have 5 menu points why don' t you use YAML for CMSimple? --> http://www.cmsimplewiki.com/doku.php/cm ... r_cmsimple .
In addition, there are a lot of free templates for CMSimple using just horizontal menus. You can study them.
