I've did a quick search and found http://www.tinymce.com/wiki.php/Plugin3x:preview. This plugin is already included in the TinyMCE 3.x that's bundled with CMSimple_XH. To activate it, is is sufficient to add "preview" to "plugins" and to "theme_advanced_buttonsN" in the respective init_*.js.
