Insert image with tinymce function

Post by palhof » Wed May 29, 2013 5:13 pm

I have a problem in tinymce. The problem is probably settings on my PC.
I dont had this problem before and can not remember if there is update the last few days. The problem is both on the web server and locally WAMP server

When I place an image on a page and clicking on the icon pictures, then I get the correct one frame, but it is 40-50 seconds, maybe more sleeping on (# advimage_dlg.dialog_title)
before switching to Insert / Edit Image.
Everything works well but is extremely slow

Which version of CMSimple and which browser do you use?

In case the image is large: does it take long for a small image also?

I use CMSimple _XH 1.5.6 / WAMP 2.2 PHP 5.4.3/5.3.13 / WIN 7 / Explore 10 / Java 7 update 21
It is more than 3 months old and the problem i 5 days old

The problem is subordinate to the size of the image. It's time to get the form to display the form to acquire the image in

The problem is new compared to the software. since I can not remember that you've changed or been updated from the time everything really worked perfectly

The download CMS 4.0.4 it is the same problem

Hmm, I do not have a clue yet what's happening there.

Please check with the online demo of tinyMCE. Does it take equally long to open the image dialog?

That's interesting. I don't know, which version of tinyMCE is running in the online demo (the info dialog says 3.5.x), but I assume it's the same as in CMSimple_XH 1.5.6 (i.e. tinyMCE 3.5.8).

So, what may be different? At least the "image list" and the "classes". Do you have many images in the image folder? Do you have a complex stylesheet? Particularly the latter might slow down showing the dialog--even if I can't imagine that it may take 40-50 seconds on a somewhat modern machine.

The default installation, or did you "import" your site?

It is downloaded from CMSimple.

I think the problem lies in a service that is not started / running.

My wife's PC has'ent the problem, it starts a frame fast. about 1 sec -1 ½

Hmm, I already thought about that it may be related to some browser setting or Add-On. But as it worked fine for the online demo I rejected this suspicion.

However, you may open Windows Taskmanager and check, if there is any activity (CPU) during the period in which you have to wait for the new window to open. That might give a hint which process is blocking.
