I just realize, that Flash movies inserted by FCKEditor are only played in Gecko Browsers and not in IE, because the surrounding object tag is missing..http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewCon ... Id=tn_4150.
Since I was never a fan of IE it is still a fact that over 60% of the visitors are using this beloved browser. Because of this fact it is quite a big issue. I don't find any topic about this issue and I wonder that not anybody else found this out. Is there already a solution around. If not, might it be possible to integrate SWFObject?

Hi manu,

yes, the next update will come with a little patched FCKeditor-plugin to integrate SWFObject (X)html valid.

I searched only the Editor's Board. I'm looking forward to seeing a patched version, especially if the flash button is in standard config and nowhere is noticed this restriction..
