Can someone please help me here?
I have downloaded the latest CMSimple 3.3 I think, though the HTML source says 3.2
I have downloaded the latest Openwysiwyg and followed the instructions at http://www.nmud.de/downloads/openwysiwyg_help.htm
But I have no editor?
I have searched the forums and google... can't find a solution. I want to use this as it is the editor I was using with cmsimple 2.x and simpler to support one editor with my clients...

Re: Openwysiwyg
1. Check if you have "openwysiwyg.php" saved in "./cmsimple/" directory.
2. Check if you have the "onload();" placed in BODY tag in your template.htm
If you have all this and the editor is still not visible, something else must be wrong.
More comfortible is to use the newer CMSimple_XH. The included FCKeditor is better featured than the openwysiwyg.

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Re: Openwysiwyg
Two reasons why I prefer Openwysiwyg
1. Got three dozen clients using it so makes support easier.
2. I want to offer WysiwygPro as an additional option.
I have to admit that when I chose OW it was because it was the only one I could get working. Seems now, more than two years later it is the exact opposite. SAD
I will give FCK a try then since I have exhausted every other option.

Re: Openwysiwyg
It is also possible:
1. Make a simple CMSimple_XH installation
2. Copy your original content.htm -> content/content.htm
3. Delete new ./content/pagedata.php
4. Copy our [your_temlpate] -> ./templates/[your_temlpate] and adjust the ./cmsimple/config.php
This should work basically without problems.

Re: Openwysiwyg
Download CMSimple SE from my site, it has an improved OpenWYSIWYG included. Save yourself the troubles... CMSimple SE and XH are almost identical. There is just some changes in the UI and it comes with more stuff.

Re: Openwysiwyg
Open/edit openwysiwyg/wysiwyg.js and there comment-out the lines with button definitions (about #260). Here you can also comment-out any other buttons.
