FCKeditor internal link
FCKeditor internal link
Just moved my trial site from one server to another to go live and now I cant get the Internal Link button to work. (FCKEditor)
I highlight the word click Internal Link and the window opens but nothing happens except the "waiting" graphic .
Am using XH 1.1.2
Could this be a server problem or something on my installation.

If I am not wrong, this happens in IE. Have you tried this with other browsers?

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Hmm, seems to be a open_basedir restriction caused by mod_security - maybe .
There's no error message?

Hi Holger
No error message. The Internal Link window opens but just get the little sqares changing colour.
The isp has just upgraded their platform!
If i tell them "seems to be a open_basedir restriction caused by mod_security" would that be obvious to them
edit: Just checked on phpinfo and open_basedir is set at "no value" - is that correct?

Re: FCKeditor internal link
Hi
Have been taking at length to my isp about this and they dont seem to think it is a problem with their server environment.
I have tried using oEdit and the internal linking works which my ISP says rules out "open_basedir restriction caused by mod_security."
Am trying to use tinymce but cant get that to work at all yet!
Anyone any ideas what it could be or what I can say to my ISP.

Re: FCKeditor internal link
My CMSimple SE comes with 3 Editors, maybe it works there, you can try it. It has CKEditor, TinyMCE and OpenWYSIWYG all in customized versions.
It is based on CMSimple XH and its free!
Get it here: http://cmsimple-styles.com/cmsimplestyl ... MSimple_SE

Re: FCKeditor internal link
The problem are lines like
inside sitelink.php.
Mod security takes paths with ../../../ as hacking attempt and the request get dropped.
I'm sure that can be fixed, but i have no time doing it at the moment.
Sorry,
Holger
Code: Select all
include '../../../../cmsimple/config.php';
