Styles dropdown list in TinyMCE

Post by Tata » Tue Nov 22, 2016 7:58 pm

One more question:
The use of Styles dropdown in TinyMCE is very practical feature. However, in the list are to many styles, even the styles which don't need to be (e.g. navigation classes and other special template classes) because they have actually very seldom usage in the editor.
How can the stylesheet be written such a way that only the classes usable in the content would be included in the Styles dropdown list. There are the content headings, paragraph, DIV, code etc. in the first left dropdown list. The rest of styles taken from the stylesheet used in content are e.g.:
text emphasizing (color, font, size, style, shadowing)
text/image, DIVs, image standard dimensions, bordering, shadowing, floating, positioning, backgrounds
etc.
It would be also nice if the classes/IDs would be sorted by alphabet for easier orientation.

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.
