wwwauth Where is username set?

Post by hp225tj » Thu Nov 27, 2008 11:33 pm

When activating wwwauth, where should I set the username? In Version 2.5 there was a config text box above password for setting the user name but this seems to have disapeared between that version and 3.2. I set the method to wwwauth and quickly found that I could then not log in! I fixed this by resetting the authentication method in config.php back to "Page"

Many thanks,

James

Hi James

After you've changed to wwwauth and save it, then go to another page.
Now go into Settings, Edit configuration and you will now see security_username: admin changed it to what you want.

Default is security_username: admin if you logout and havent changed it :)
