made all the needed changes tot the permissions for the different folders and files.
But still I can't insert pictures into a page.
I cannot believe that I am the only one with this problem..??

I can upload the pictures just fine (when logged in to the page) but I just can't insert them thru the editor into the pages.
The pictures allready on the test site are there becuase i just copyed and paste the content from my old site into the editor within the new page.

Can you make any changes on the page? E.g. writing and sving texts?
CMSimple.sk
It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

yes I can, but still I get the same error message.

I changed the new site to the main directory now:
www.camperzone.nl
using the latest version of cmsimple_xh and all the permissions are set correctly.

The content that is in it right now is made by making a copy of the html content from my old page and pasting it directly into the editor on my new page.
All the images in the image folder are there because I left the old image folder from my old site) on the server.

allready found that..:) thanks gert.
Like I said the permissions are set correctly, so that is no longer the problem.
Also is the new install in the main dir on the web server.
www.camperzone.nl
the pictures in there are there because I simply just made a copy of the content + image folder into the new page.

this is the error I get when want to insert a picture:
[ external image ]

maybe that says anything to any one..??
I got some help from Maeg thru pb's on the forum.
He copyed my entire site to a domain he had free and there it works.
I changed nothing in the server setting and on http://www.camperzone.nl/test is an old version of cmsimple running and there I can add pictures to every page with out any problems.

I deleted all the content out of the image folder, and try to upload a picture through the site it self but that don't work either.

Please delete the empty index.html in your /images and /downloads folder.
A *.html ia a not allowed filetype and the filebrowser will drop your request with a funny errormessage.
