Suggestion: jquery auto iframe

Post by oldnema » Fri Apr 27, 2012 12:47 pm

Hi developers, on the internet I found that it is possible to set automatic height iframe using jquery. It would be a nice alternative to the plugin "Wrapper".
He knew someone would implement such a plugin?

Link here for example: http://drupal.stackexchange.com/questio ... ent-domain

Hi Josef,

quite a while ago I found some issues with wrapper under FF7. As an alternative solution to the dynamic drive scripts used by wrapper, I've found http://sonspring.com/journal/jquery-iframe-sizing.

I've asked in http://www.cmsimpleforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3624, if others had problems with wrapper under FF7 too, but it seemed to work okay when using autowrap2(). So I didn't go on with a jQuery based alternative.

Some kind of XDM would be a nice addition -- but one has to take care about possible security issues.

Christopher, thank you for the explanation - but it would be nice if it were any other alternative to the plugin "wrapper".
