CMSimple Compared to Wordpress

Just wanted to ask how the security is with this system, given that there is not a database protected by phpmyadmin. I've had wordpress websites hacked. Clients complain about it, and I just wanted to know if that same thing can happen with CMSimple.

Would be great to know, because CMSimple would be so much easier to backup and restore.

AFAIK there is no system around the world that can't be hacked. Even the most advanced governmental systems, baksystems, FBI, CIA have been hacked already a couple of times. There is no 100% hackproof system. Very often it is a question of the user's approach (power of password, changes of password, server side security serttings, files permissions etc.). Sites based on CMSimple have been hacked recently as well. Choise of a CMS depending on security level is then maybe not the most deciding point. More than this is to decide conparing the enduser's comfort, support, simplicity etc.
