make useful urichar setting default

Post by svasti » Fri Apr 10, 2015 6:10 pm

The very useful
$tx['urichar']['new']="";
$tx['urichar']['org']="";
are somehow hidden at the end of the language file. So they tend to be forgotten.
(1) I propose to place them after $tx['template']['text3']

(2) I also propose to fill them with useful content... i.e. for the standard download this would only concern the German language file. However I propose that translaters for other languages also take notice of these variables in the language files.

So that, if somebody starts a new XH-website, he/she gets useful settings right away.

I'd propose this already for 1.6.7

+ 1

Do you have any concrete suggestions for the German urichar_org/new? The proposed Simplify page URLs wrt. word_separator patch uses the Umlauts and the sharp S.

Seems to be reasonable. Don't forget to put it on the roadmap.

BTW: when shall we start voting on 1.6.7?
