Pagemanager extension

Post by Tata » Mon Apr 19, 2021 11:43 pm

It would be very comfortable to have the pluginmanager extended by:
- expnad/colapse all items function
- checkbox for publish/unpublish function for each item

I miss this features now that I haave converted an old webpage with about 60 subpages in various levels (mostly with foldergallery and accordion plugin). There are abviously missing some subfolders in /images/gallery. If one of those subfolders is missing, the rest of the webpage goes destroid. Unpublishing all of them and publishing them one by one would allow to easily find respective missing direktory.
Sometime it is needed to unpublish a number of subpages. Doing this in pagemanager similar to "hide in navigation" would be very comfortable.

It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.

Hi Tata,

a very good suggestion, I would also like to see that. ;)

Another example for that feature request:
It's great, that we can copy whole menus with their submenus and all their pages.
But because these copied subpages need their own Polyglott entries, these pages cannot set to public per instant!
So it would be perfect to hide the whole range of new copied not ready edited pages, make the little needed changes and after that publish them all with one or a few clicks, but not sixty clicks as in Tata´s example!

Yes, another solution is to edit the content.htm file offline, but it isn't the best idea every time and not for everyone. ;)

Please consider this request at the next opportunity when there is time to further develop Pagemanager.
Thank you!
Ciao
Michael

Oh, this is actually about Pagemanager_XH (not pluginmanager).

Isn't this already available (second button in the toolbar).

It is not possible to have multiple checkboxes in jsTree. But the Pagemanager_XH documentation states:
The checkboxes to the left of the pages allow you to view and change their publishing state. You can configure if they refer to 'Published?' or 'Show in menu?' (what is the default). If this setting is empty, no checkboxes are shown.
You can change that setting any time (except for a contrieved case).

Would it then be possible to have a switch button for "pulished/show in navigation" right in the pagemanager, without a need to opening/change the plugin configuration ervery time when this type of change?
EDIT:
Das ist wohl Quatsch, so kann es nicht funktionieren.
Falls

Wäre es möglich zwei Radiobuttons für eine der Möglichkeiten (Publish, Show in menu) nutzen?
