CMSimple_XH 1.5.9

Hello Community,

CMSimple_XH 1.5.9 is available. As we have noticed potential problems with regard to the OPcache extension which is shipped with PHP since 5.5 and enabled by default, we have decided to disable the OPcache completely for now.[1]

Updating is strongly recommended.

Download from SourceForge as usual:
  • Full version (for new installations)
  • Upgrade from 1.5 to 1.5.9 (follow the upgrade instructions)
  • Upgrade from 1.5.4 to 1.5.9 (for your convenience, if you already have installed 1.5.4/1.5.5/1.5.6/1.5.7; after making a backup of the website, just upload the files in cmsimplexh/ over the existing installation, and change the setting of "autoload" in the configuration of the jQuery Plugin)
  • Upgrade from 1.5.8 to 1.5.9 (for your convenience, if you already have installed 1.5.8; after making a backup of the website, just upload the files in cmsimplexh/ over the existing installation)
[1] As the OPcache actually is a good thing, this is most likely going to change in a future version, when existing plugins will have been updated to cater for the OPcache.
