New Template - maxB | CSS Template

Post by Till » Sun Feb 08, 2009 10:11 pm

maxB is actually two templates: one frontend and one backend template. To use this template it is a prerequisite to add the word "parent" in the "menu_sdoc:" input field of CMSimple's configuration menu. If you don't do this, the dynamic layout changes of the menu will not work properly. Since the template uses transparent background also in MS Internet Explorers, the CSS code will not validate according to W3C standards. (sorry Gert ;) )

Accepted !

I know, there are many good reasons to accept some errors by W3C-validation, specially by CSS. Its the same like using shadows in gallery. Opacity is not CSS-Standard, but it looks nice. In this case I can accept some valitation-errors.

But I dont like templates causing 100 and more (X)html-error-messages, specially simple errors like no alt-tag by images and mixed html and Xhtml.

And so I have made some developer-templates validating in html 4.01 transitional and also in Xhtml 1.0 transitional:

These developer-templates are not ready to use and dont look nice, but they are commented (the code) and designed for styling per CSS.

You should present them here. And maybe, Mikey puts you on his list ;)

Maybe I will do it. But I think, at first I should make some template-sites in English (but thats my problem). I want to try it in the next weeks, some simply sentences in English should be possible ...

Thank you, so I can become prominent without making English sites

I have added a Backlink to CMSimple.de to my footer.
