"News", "Pictures" and "Youtube" on GitHub

The following plugins are now available on GitHub:

News - https://github.com/davidstutz/cmsimple-news: A plugin for publishing and managing news. It can also be used to provide blog-like functionality.

Pictures - https://github.com/davidstutz/cmsimple-pictures: A plugin for creating sliders and galleries. Supports several different sliders, as for example bxSlider.

Youtube - https://github.com/davidstutz/cmsimple-youtube: A plugin for creating youtube video galleries.

Update: Two additional plugins are available through GitHub - a new editor and filebrowser. Note that these plugins work well in combination, however, no integration with other filebrowsers or editors is provided yet.

Hi,

I like the plugins "News" and "Pictures".

I already noticed, that there were no further versions.

I am not able to create or develope plugins. I am just an enduser.

But with a little help I could make some changes.

As I have not the time to actively develop these plugins anymore, I encourage all users and developers interested in these plugins to use the issue tracker and pull requests to keep these plugins alive!

The switch to GitHub seems to be reasonable for easier project management.

But with a little help I could make some changes.

It would be great, if anyone who will develop the plugin further, use the change I made.

It seems reasonable to file respective feature requests for each suggested improvement. It would be nice, if you could explain there what each improvement accomplishes.
