Adventcalendar_XH

Hello Community,

I've just released Adventcalendar_XH 1beta1.

Adventcalendar_XH facilitates to display an advent calendar on your site. The little doors can only be opened by visitors up to the current date. The secrets behind the doors are the contents of CMSimple pages, so it's possible to present whatever you like (poetry, images, videos, products etc.)

Unfortunately the plugin is out very late for this year, but as it's possible to add the secrets on a daily base, it might not be too late.

I wish all of you a contemplative advent season.

Christoph

Hello Community,

I've just released Adventcalendar_XH.

Now it's possible to open all doors when you're in admin mode.

The only changed files are index.php and changelog.txt, so if you've already installed 1beta1 it's enough to replace these files.

Hello Community,

I've just released Adventcalendar_XH 1beta3.

I've fixed the bug, where hidden pages couldn't be used as secrets!

The only changed files are index.php and changelog.txt, so if you've already installed 1beta1 or 1beta2 it's enough to replace these files.

Hi,
I wanted to use the Adventcalendar plugin for this Christmas. I just can't get it to run - it blocks the whole site and produces a white screen. The site runs CMSimple v1.5.3 but I have tested it with later versions and still same result. Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong - or is it maybe the plugin itself that maybe needs updating ;)

Please try again with debug mode enabled -- that should show an error message.

Debug mode shows following:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare include_jQuery() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/hjertekulen.dk/httpdocs/plugins/jquery/jquery.inc.php:22) in /var/www/vhosts/hjertekulen.dk/httpdocs/plugins/jquery/jquery.inc.php on line 37

Hi Korvell,

there seems to be a little bug in Adventcalendars index.php.

Search for function Adventcalendar_js()
and change the line

Code: Select all

include "{$pth['folder']['plugins']}jquery/jquery.inc.php";
to

Code: Select all

include_once "{$pth['folder']['plugins']}jquery/jquery.inc.php";

Thanks Holger. Tried changing the line and now I don't get the while screen. But it doesn't show the calendar either. And debug mode says nothing...
Any other ideas/suggestions?
