Hi Sonny

It's sounds like an unstable server or server setup. Try to contact your provider.

Hello jerry,

it seems to be a problem with web.de. The newsletter-verification-Email is placed in the file: unknown E-Mails (directly in the mailbox from web.de).

I think that is the problem. Now I want to check it out if I also can not subscribe when I received the newsletter-verification-E-mail in my mail-programm (Mail).

I hope it´s the error.

Hello CMSimple Users,

OK, I found the solution for the problem:

The acknowledgment E-Mail makes problems, especially web.de. Web.de is shortening the subscribing-link. That´s the reason why many people could subscribe an someone not!!
There is no solution for that problem!

OK, I´m happy now, I know the problem but I can´t do anything.

@ ALL
Thank you for your help!!!
It´s always great to have such a great support from other cmsimple users!

ThanX.

Hi Jerry

I tested the newsletter subscription on your site and get this E-Mail Message returned:
Thank you for signing up for the newsletter. To confirm your subscription please follow this link:
http://cmsimpleplugins.jakobsfeld.dk/in ... 8zIw%3D%3D

When I click on the link I get this error:
Subscribe
() Your e-mail could not be confirmed. Please enter the correct email address..

I noticed the same error on my installation, but I just wanted to be sure...
regards
manu

EDIT:
Surprisingly in a second run we cannot reproduce the problem. Thus the problem might be solved.

Hi manu

It seams that you have same problem as described in thtis thread. Your e-mail adress is scrumbled somwhere. If you mail me the e-mail adress and text you subscribe with I will try to see if it is a bug. I have no problems subscribing with e-mails adresses I use.

After subscribing nearly 400 addresses for the newsletter with registration e-mail, I can state that some webmail users have problems to complete the registration. It looks like the webmail provider already urldecodes the registration link. The result is, the link is not valid anymore. From my view there isn't a solution for this. A possible way is to extend the registration text and advise to try to copy/paste the URI into the addressfield of the browser.
I hope this helps.

Hi
I just released a new version of Newsletter (2.1.1) with minor bug fixes. This version doesn't solve the problem described in this tread. To solve it I need to rewrite the subscription confirmation functionality, which will not be right now.
