I did made the local setting in languagefile for en_US so i thought the dates in calendar plugin are showing now for example 04-23-2019 or april 23, 2019
But it isn't.

Can anybody tell me what to change to get this work??

If I remember correctly, none of the Calendar plugin versions support locale settings, but only some configuration options. Might be helpful to know which version of Calendar you're using.

Indeed Locale settings is not supported. The few configurationoptions do not let us change the date format.
I'm using version 2.0dev1
I'm almost sure that this can be change somewhere but i have no idea where to change what.
Would very helpfull if somebody can help me out on this.!!

Me myself not a programmer so i have no idea what to change, but i would like to have the option to show dates like this: May 24, 2019 And the time showing like this: 8:00p.m.

Any suggestion where to search in what file to get above visible?

In the current state – this ain't easy. The dates for the event lists are composed in this function – other dates are composed elsewhere. Sorry, no quick fix possible.
