Menumanager will not start

I can't get Menumanager (2009c) to work at all. All I get is a blank page, browser address bar shows "http://localhost/cmsimple/?&menumanager&normal" but nothing happens (localhost is running Abyss Web Server). Other plugins I have are Calendar, Memberpages and SImpleMultiUser, CMSimple version is 3.2. Do I need to set up the plugin somehow before use?

Blank page means php crashed. But i cant tell you why.
