Not being an PHP expert and seeing the following in the manual:

Note: preg_match(), which uses a Perl-compatible regular expression syntax, is often a faster alternative to ereg().

I wonder if regi() is the fastest/best method of 'show/hide' as it is used in index.php version 0.7.
That's the reason for asking.

Tory made a new version 1.0:
The functionality of displaying/not displaying Time, Location and Link in Event View was omitted in version 0.9. It is now back again
