New Plugin Last update

Post by ZiPs » Thu Jul 10, 2008 10:38 pm

Last opdate with names of day and month in your language

This plugin is made because of comment in the Français part on this forum, which says that we should not modify the code in the original files.
So if you still want the day or month in their own language, it is not possible because php date codes does not support this.

But with this small plugin you can get it in your language, just change the language file and the settings to what you want to be shown.
It is multi-language, so if you have several languages pages on your site, it follows these languages.

Thanks to Holger for translation.

It can be downloaded at http://cmsimple.prebendahl.dk/

No Connie,
PHP isn't so limited, as you can see with this plugin, but you have to hack cmsimples core files because the originial lastupdate() function is only in english date format integrated...

Or you use ZiPs' plugin ;)

Maybe, the developer would add this plugin to CMSimpleWiki?

I noticed the date format is not quite right according to danish standard ;) - it says "31 Juli" but should be "31. juli".
Besides that I like it.

Hi korvell

Thanks for the feedback, and you also like it :D

To put a sentence after 31 can be done in configuration, change "Format date day:" to j. it gives a
sentence after the date, like this 31.

It will, however, change the settings for all languages, but I can do it in the language file, if it should not be the case in the other languages.
