site comes up as "New Page" and website is gone

Hi, I did a minor edit, put a hyperlink on a piece of text, pressed save, and now the whole site is gone.
and every time I try to copy from backup, it shows up as "New Page" Again, with the whole site missing again.
Anyone have any similar issues?

Has the content.htm file been deleted or is the text just invisible? Did you make a copy/paste without cleaning the text you copied? CMS systems don't like this very much.

This will happen if you run out of space on your webhotel - or some other error on the server does not allow you to write to the content file, even though it is reported writable. I have experienced this only twice at gighost.dk and once at another webhotel. Never anywhere else.
