Re: XH Multilanguage support

Brilliant! It works as you explained.
Just a comment - I searched on the WIKI and nothing was found in the search for 'multilanguage'. Maybe there needs to be some more search words on the page.
Thanks folks!

XH Multilanguage support

HI! I'm trying to find information on setting up secondary languages (multilanguage). Obviously CMSimple XH has the capability but I can't find any information on this Forum or the WIKI or in the 'User Manual'. I gather there has been some changes in how this is accomplished in newer versions(?). I ...

Re: Responsive Template 'simpleXH2'

Thanks svasti, No need to do much for me as I always make major changes to the templates I use. My aim is to start with something that as closely as possible approximates my needs in functions. Simplifies life. Responsive is the 'in-thing' now so key is the @media flow and menu (first and second lev...

Thanks,

You may nonetheless consider to deactivate it for testing purposes.
Yes - I already did that.

Re: CKEditor not recognised

Many thanks again folks, at this moment I've returned to 'tinymce'. If I have time to play with CKEditor again I'll do some more diagnostics and review the JavaScript console error log. On Firefox I use Giorgio Maone's NoScript to block scripts but always allow all on my own sites so that shouldn't ...

Re: CKEditor not recognised

Following on - I have now installed Holger's newer (demo) version of CKEditor. It works in Firefox (latest version) in Windows7 and the drop-down selection options work but in Chrome the only things that appear for a page are the two tabs at the top left. The edit area is empty. No editor heading/me...

Re: CKEditor not recognised

Thanks for your helpful responses (some translated with google - I can't read German). I opened the site with both Chrome and Firefox. The server is Apache. PHP 5.3.28 build 19-12-2013. Today I was able to get 'ckeditor' to function when I use the all lower case spelling. Other cases fail. Obviouly ...

CKEditor not recognised

I have copied 'ckeditor' into the plugins folder but it is not a selection option from the 'Settings / CMS/ Editor' setup panel. When I overtype 'tinymce' with ckeditor' in the settings CMSimle XH responds with 'External editor "Ckeditor" missing!' It does appear in the Plugins list and it does fire...

Re: XH 1.6.6: search function fails

Hi Christoph,

I made the change that you mentioned and it has fixed the search issue. (method_exists to class_exists )
All works as expected now.

Many thanks, I'll call off my hosting provider techies now.

Have fun!
