Re: Sliding navigation tutorial

page-nav.jpgThere should be no next/previous below the content now. I have replaced them by the buttons left/right and they are only 50px wide, so nothing shall cover the content now. It was so before when both buttons were in a table fixed in the vertical middle of the page. Again, with me it work...

Re: Sliding navigation tutorial

Ok, I emptied the cache again, closed the app completely and now it seems to work.
So it seems to have been my fault.
Sorry.
But now I have this problem with the link Preview

I have not found any problems while testing on my iMAC, iPad nor on iPhone (all Apple).
Does that work for you on an iPad and Safari?
From my experience this combination works not in combination with overflow: hidden.

Do you suggest better to close these tutorials? I have learned much, anyway.
No, not at all.
But it has to work.
You have to find the bug or rebuild it so that it works everywhere.

Who will look at a tutorial on CSS if there is a problem with CSS in this tutorial?

Re: Sliding navigation tutorial

Yes, there are a few problems with Safari every now and then.
Nevertheless, it should work fine across all browsers.
If someone comes to the site with an iPad in this way, then your work was for nothing and for XH it is a negative advertisement.

Der ist gut.

Aber mal ernsthaft, ich denke, es geht hier auch mehr um Screenreader, die das höchstwahrscheinlich ähnlich sehen.

Now the layout is completely broken. No more menu, no prev, top or next.
Screenshot from iPad too big for the forum. :(
Refresh the browser; likely the old CSS is chached.
I have done this

It works with Ipad + Firefox, but not with Safari.
PC + Chrome also works.

Should work now. The footer-container was fixed in the bottom. But I have forgotten about proper responsibiliy settting  .
Not for me (on iPad)
Nothing has changed with Safari.
In Firefox it works, but links and footers are layered. So it's not nice optically.
