Calendar_XH 1.4 released

Hi all,

it's taken a long time, now the beta version ist out. Tested thoroughly by oldnema and given a few shots of coding magic by Christoph.

I have tried to implement all demands which were asked here in the forum. Only rss-feed isn't there yet, sorry.

• Calendar can do fancy designed big month calendars where every day has a field with events written into it.
• Smaller multiple month calendars and year views are possible.
• The eventlist can be styled via a very simple template system... one nice template coming from oldnema.
• Different calendars are possible and 2 different event files can be combined into 1 calendar or 1 event list.
• Direct configuration above the event entry.

Download Calendar_XH 1.4 beta

File structure compatible with old Calendar files. Old function calls should still work.
Seems to work even with old CMSimple... and has FCKeditor build in for this case. If you have CMSimple_XH 1.5.x, you can delete the FCKeditor part of Calendar.

The old version 1.2.8, which just received a security maintenance update (thanks to a hint from Christoph), is also still available.

manu found a small error in the help file, which I corrected in the download just now. It's the correct function call for the event list {{{PLUGIN:eventlist();}}}

Have you already Experienced in Marquee not workin When The calendar plugin is ook RealBlog plugin installed? I have found this in installation of:

CMSimpleRealBlog 1.5.3
Calendar_XH 1.4 beta

Could Any of you drop a hint what can Be done to get it working?

Hi Josef,

I assume you're talking about the jQuery marquee (plugins/calendar/config/config2.php: $calendar_cf['marquee_in_jquery']="1";) and that it doesn't scroll. This works fine for me in a fresh installation of CMSimpleRealBlog 153 and Calendar_XH 1.4beta (no other plugins). But there might be a clash with another plugin (or template?) using jQuery.

So, do you have other plugins installed? And please have a look at the JS error console; this might give a hint what's the problem.

Tested configuration unchanged CMSimpleRealBlog 1.5.3 here http://www.ge-webdesign.de/cmsimplerealblog/?Download integrated with basic plugins and templates.

Otherwise:

• Is the marquee shown at all?
• Have you tried to uncheck "use jQuery to run marquee:" ("použít jQuery pro zobrazení marquee")?
• Are JS errors reported?

Problem solved is true, but it turned out that the error occurs only on localhost in Firefox and only 11.0.
