I have a js photo gallery, including a piece of js that goes in the page and calls the gallery and images from a folder I upload to the root or other location in the site. Does this require php scripting or is there a way to just add in to the page as a link?
I would like to have a link on the left nav that displays the gallery on the page when clicked.
I am not a coder. This gallery was generated by software I have.

Try to insert the script into a <HEAD></HEAD> section in your template.
It's no shame to ask for an answer if all efforts failed.
But it's awful to ask without any effort to find the answer yourself.
