jQuery Autoload

Post by cmb » Sun Feb 22, 2015 5:52 pm

I think it might be a nice improvement for jQuery4CMSimple if it would be possible to autoload jQuery without jQueryUI. I expect that jQueryUI is rarely needed, but it is really big (currently 234 KB + 30 KB CSS).

Maybe the Autoload setting could be extended to an enum or an additional config option could be added.

Yea, good idea.
Will add it to the next release.

Can you add it to the roadmap -- just as reminder?

I've put it on the roadmap for 1.6.6, because that's likely to be our next release.

BTW: are you aware that voting for the first "sprint" of 1.7 ends tomorrow night (UTC)?

Yes, made my votes now. Sorry being late. Had been lying most of the weekend in bed with the flu...
