Newsbox Rotator (Linkware Version)

First - thx to Jerry for offering the Newsboxrotator again as linkware.

However, there seems to be a problem with the config file of this plugin.

If you use the downloaded version from the website http://simplesolutions.dk/?Newsbox_Rotator , the news do neither appear on the screen nor do they change.

There is in Plugins -> Newsrotator -> Configuration no way to set SYNC or RANDOMIZE EFFECTS - the two drop-down option are empty.

Randomize effects has no entry in the config.php file - in order for the plugin to work I had with an ftp program and an editor to set these Values to "1" (true).

If you change any of the configuration values from within the config menu, you have to do above again, since these to values are reset to nothing (nil).

Have you followed the configuration instructions on how the news should be placed in the content structure. Otherwise it does not work

ok. That problem is solved. But now there is another one. When the news has cyled to news2 or news3 and you try to stop the animation, eg. move the mouse over the news, the news immedeately cyles back to news1, the first news. There is no way to stop te animation to read a news.

And in addition, when the page / template is called for the first time, it takes a rather long time until the news start to cycle. If they are gone for the first time thru all news, even the display of news1 is in the normal time range. Only when called for the first time- you have a delay.

I guess that you have an empty page called Newsbox(or what you call your news boxes pages) as the first page. If i'm not right then I need an url to see whats going on your site.
